Start/End of School Day
We would politely request that if groups of children are being led from one school to another at the start/end of the school day, please wait for all the children to go past before you pass. Children can become upset when people are trying to go through the line.
Run to Tokyo
It is has been great to see so many of our KS2 pupils participating in "Run To Tokyo" again this week. We will be continuing after the Easter break. We have had a bit of rain in the mornings this week, if there are no staff by the entrance to the field at 8:30 please assume Run To Tokyo has been postponed.
Wrap Club
Please remember to book now for Summer 1. This can be done online via the website. Bookings for Summer 1 should be made by Friday the 13th April, any bookings after this date the 10% discount may not be applied. Weekly booking for the following week should also be made by the 13th April. Payments should be made on receipt of the booking confirmation letter which will be sent home in the children’s bags after half term. Cancellations are not permitted once a booking has been made as per terms and conditions of provisions. If you have any queries please contact wrap@raglanschools.org. A reminder that children must be collected promptly by 6.00pm any late collections have be arranged beforehand and must be no later than 6.15pm. To contact wrap club during wrap hours please call 07841 455439. Letters will be sent home by Thursday 29th March for those with outstanding debt for Raglan Wrap. This must be paid by the 16th April in order to book further provisions.
Sports Relief
Thank you all for taking part in Sports Relief last week. We raised a total of £1,153.04 .
Leslieess Easter Holiday Club
Unfortunately due to lack of bookings, Leslieess will not be holding an Easter Holiday Club.
Year 4 Swimming
Year 4 swimming will resume on Thursday 19th April.
Junior School Dinner Debt
Please check on ParentPay to ensure that you are up date with your child’s school dinner money. Any outstanding debt should be paid by Thursday 29th March 2018. We ask that the dinner money account is kept in credit at all times

Free Cycle Lessons over Easter!
Cycle Enfield are once again offering FREE Easter holiday cycle skills for various age groups Tuesday 3rd March – Friday 13th February. These FREE sessions are happening in 3 locations across the borough. This is the only opportunity for younger children (age 4-9) to receive training of this kind. Training can be booked on the Cycle Confident website: www.cycleconfident.com/sponsors/enfield/.
School Uniform
Please ensure that your child comes to school in the correct uniform. All children should be wearing black shoes, trainers should not be worn during school unless it is play/lunchtime or during PE sessions. Colourful hair accessories i.e bows/headbands are not part of the school uniform and therefore should not be worn.
Nursery Fees
Thank you all of those who have signed up for the extended nursery provision. We are in the process of issuing invoices out to those parents who have fees payable. If you would like to pay via childcare vouchers or tax free childcare please email your provider into office@raglanschools.org who will be able to forward this onto the School Business Manager who will be able to deal with your query. Apologies for the delay in getting this information out to you.

EASTER EGG TRAIL - Thursday, 29th March
Thanks to everyone who has registered for the Easter Egg Trail tomorrow. Please bear with us as there are more than 350 children on our list… IF YOU HAVE PRE-REGISTERED then head down to the field and take part in the Easter Egg trail straight from drop off. PLEASE BRING A PEN. The event will take place even in the rain :) A big thank you to our local Estate Agent - Grange Homes who are donating £400 towards this event.

RSA Quiz Night - Friday, 18th May

Congratulations
The Chamber Choir won the Mayor’s Choral Award last night for the third year running. We are so proud of their achievement and their hard work over the last term. Well done!
Chamber Choir
Chamber Choir rehearsal will resume the first week back after Easter on Thursday 19th April in preparation for a community concert.
Junior Choir
The Gift of Music of Music Concert will take place the first week back after Easter. All arrangements remain the same as before.
Instrumental and Vocal lessons
Lessons will start from Monday 23rd April. Children will receive the date and time of the lesson during the first back.
EMS Guidance on reporting absence from Instrumental and Vocal Lessons
If your child will be absent from their instrumental/vocal lessons due to school trips/ school activities please inform their instrumental tutor by putting a note in their yellow book least 2-3 weeks in advance, or alternatively inform the school office.mailto:S.ojokor@raglanschools.org. Following a successful start to our "Run To Tokyo" initiative this week we have decided to continue next week and after Easter. The days will change slightly with Year 3/4 now running on Monday and Wednesday and Y5/6 running on Tuesday and Thursday.

Boots Exchange
If your child needs a pair of astroturf, moulded or studded boots, they can grab a pair for free in the Yr 5/6 playground every Friday afternoon. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated a pair already. If you have any boots that no longer fit your children, we would be very grateful for any donations.
