School Visits and Visitors to School
We have a range of visits each year where there is a clear link to the curriculum. We choose trips and visitors that will enhance the curriculum and provide something we are unable to provide ourselves at school. Unfortunately this comes at a cost beyond what our school budget can provide. We do rely on voluntary contributions from parents in order for these trips to take place. We have a Charging Policy that sets out this in more detail. If you are in receipt of Free School Meals there is financial support for all visits. We currently have a residential visit in Year 6 at the start of the year. The visit to PGL in Surrey is an outdoor adventure centre and provides a range of activities including climbing, abseiling, raft building, zip wire, problem solving, low ropes and a challenge course. The children stay for 4 days and 3 nights over a long weekend.
