We believe that PE is unique in its ability to develop the 'whole' person. The aim of the PE Department at Raglan Schools is to empower students with the knowledge, values, skills and personal qualities to pursue a lifelong love of physical activity and sport. We also firmly believe that competitive sport and 'opportunities for ALL' can co-exist in a busy school environment.
Raglan offers a vast array of sporting opportunities for all of our students. Alongside our 2 hours of high quality PE provision for every child, We offer over 600 extra curricular places every week with clubs ranging from Yoga to Dodgeball. Our Key Stage 2 children are given the opportunity to represent their house in football, tag rugby, netball, rounders, cricket and athletics each term in The Raglan Sports Cup and our Year 6 pupils have the chance to experience world class sporting facilities and compete against the Welsh in our annual Cardiff Sports Tour.
Community links are also an integral part of our school sports programme with excellent links forged with clubs in the area allowing all pupils the opportunity of a sustained healthy lifestyle. You can can find our external link clubs list here.
