Just before Easter we launched our take on the "Daily Mile" initiative, "Run To Tokyo!" The aim is to ensure every child participates in at least 60 minutes of vigorous physical activity everyday.

Run To Tokyo has proven to be a great success so far with our children completing a total of 14992 laps and travelling just over 5877km.

We are pleased to announce that Run To Tokyo will now be open to all our KS2 pupils Monday to Thursday from 8:30-8:40 on the field, starting from Monday 10th September.   Our expectation is that Year 3/4 parents and carers will wait by the field as their children are running.  Our year 5/6 parents and carers are more than welcome to support their child by the field if they would like to.

Our KS1 pupils are given an opportunity to "Run To Tokyo," in their playtimes every week.

At the end of every week, the classes that complete the most laps get a prize in our Celebration Assembly on Friday afternoon.

If you have any questions about "Run To Tokyo," please get in touch with Mr Flett.
