If so you may be entitled to claim for Free School Meals.  Even if your child is in the Infant School, by applying the school will get additional funding to enhance provision for your child.   We use this money to support you with school visits, school clubs, breakfast club and variety of interventions in the school day. Parents Prayer Meeting

Come and join a Parents' Prayer Meeting on Wednesday 29th November  after we have dropped the children at

RSA News

Everything you need to know about the RSA Christmas Activities has been sent home in a white envelope with your child(ren).  Here's a little reminder...
Christmas Hampers Non uniform day - Friday, 24th November 2017
Pupils can wear non uniform on Friday with a donation of a luxury item, e.g chocolates, toiletries, wine etc.  The items are then put together in beautiful hampers which are the prizes in the Christmas Raffle.
Join us for some festive cheer after drop off on the morning of 24th November to sort out and create the hampers.  Lots of helpers needed.
RSA Disco for Years 3 and 4, Friday, 24th November 2017
From 3:20 to 4:45pm, all year 3 and 4 pupils are invited to show their moves at the RSA Disco.  Tickets are £3.00 (please put the correct money in a named envelope and hand it to the teacher).  Price includes drink and a snack.   
RSA Tea Towels
Every alternate year, the RSA collate self portraits of all the children and create unique year group tea towels for sale.  These make fantastic Christmas gifts.  Extra order forms are available from the school office.  They will cost £4/each or 3 for £10.  ORDER FORMS TO BE RETURNED BY 29TH NOVEMBER.
Christmas Fair - 9th December 2017
Lots of new things planned for this year's fair.  We'll have Christmas Trees and door wreaths for sale.  We'll have a Children Only Room to do some shopping.  Volunteers and staff will be on hand to help them select and wrap a Christmas gift for parents/carers.
As always we need volunteers to help at the Fair.  If you feel you could give an hour on the Saturday please email us at raglanschoolassociation@gmail.com  
Christmas Hamper Raffle Tickets - Prize for class with highest sales!
Please sell your Raffle Tickets.  Lots of luxurious Christmas Hampers to be won.  A prize will be given to the class that sells the most tickets.  Remember to write your child's class information on it so that they are in with a chance to win.  Closing date to return tickets is Monday, 11th December.


Raglan Music News

Missing Oboe

Unfortunately an oboe has gone missing from outside a year 6 classroom. We ask that if parents come across a small black case with the EMS Badge on the side can they please return it to the school office.

Performance Platform

This a small concert for 15 soloists and their parents to attend on Monday 27th November at 9.15am in the Junior Hall. Please use the Raglan Road for the concert.

After School Music clubs

All music clubs will end Wednesday 6th December.  The final music clubs of the term will be keyboards and strings on Wednesday 6th December 3.20-4.20.

Gift of Music Concert

The Junior Choir will be performing in the annual Gift of Music concert for the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, Friday 1st Dec 7pm-9pm at Enfield Baptist Church Cecil Road, Enfield, EN2 6TG. You can buy your tickets online at www.nightingalesupport.org.uk  go to the events/fundraising page and select the Gift of Music link. You can pay online via PayPal, credit card or debit card. You can also purchase tickets from The Nightingale office – The Lancaster Centre, 53 Lancaster Road, Enfield, EN2 0BUby cheque or cash and over the phone by calling 020 8366 9674.

Boots Exchange
If your child needs a pair of astroturf, moulded or studded boots, they can grab a pair for free in the Yr5/6 playground every Friday afternoon.  Thank you so much to everyone that has donated a pair already.  If you have any boots that no longer fit your children, we would be very grateful for any donations.
