As we approach the end of the school holidays, we are making preparations to welcome the children back on Tuesday 2nd September. For those children in our Nursery and Reception classes, you will have your own start date as the children have a staggered start to their new classes.
Opening Times
These remain the same with doors opening at 08:40 and closing at 08:50 when the register starts.
The end of the day is 15:10 for Infants and 15:20 for Juniors.
All children will enter school by themselves on Tuesday. There will be plenty of staff to help and assist where needed.
Term Dates
These can be found on our website for the academic year 2025-2026. You will also receive a term dates postcard next week when school starts. Click here for term dates
Uniform
Our updated uniform policy will be implemented in full from next week. The simplified policy can be found on our website here.
Our school shop on Arbor has been extended and now includes sweatshirts, cardigans, active t-shirts and active hoodies. There also additional items available. If you order over the next few days, you can collect on Monday 1st Septmber from the Infant Hall between 1pm and 4pm. Or you can drop in and purchase any items at this time.
There is no PE on Tuesday next week. Year groups will advise you on your PE days in due course.

The wrap club is open on Monday 1st Septmber, for the INSET day, and there are some spaces available. Please book via Magic Booking or contact wrap@raglanschools.org.
Sharing the dates again for next year. We will have the postcards in September.
Children return on Tuesday, 2nd September.
Children attend school for 190 days and staff attend for 195 days. The five-day difference forms our 5 training or INSET days.

Friday 24th October 2025
Friday 19th December 2025
Friday 19th June 2026

We don't require children to wear branded items although many parents choose these options. Please see our uniform policy for more details.
A reminder that our uniform policy has changed and will be fully implemented from September 2025. This simplifies the uniform to a white polo shirt with a royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan.
The uniform page of our website sets out the policy and details shared last year.
You can buy uniform directly from us via the Arbor Shop on your app/portal or from 3 retailers which are linked on our uniform page. If you want to see or try any items you can visit the Raglan Road office between 2.30-3.30 on a Friday.
Parents who receive help with school expenses, please look out for an email regarding ordering some uniform.
We have added new branded Active Uniform items to the school shop. This includes a PE t-shirt (£6) in the four house colours. We also have a royal blue hoodie (£11) for the colder weather.
We have tried to find good quality items for a good price to support parents/carers with the costs of the uniform.
Our new active uniform T-shirts are now available in the school shop. These have been bought in bulk to keep the price low at £6
We also have available a royal blue hoodie which is for active uniform days when the weather is cooler.
