Our Walk for Andy raised over £19,000 so a huge thank you to everyone
On the 13th October we held our Walk for Andy complete with 840 pupils dressed as their hero or superhero! The sponsored event was amazing and raised over £19,000 for Andy's Wish to Walk, a campaign set up by his parents to support an operation and recovery that could help him to walk unaided. The money raised is via the charity Tree of Hope. Andy has his own page here with the aim of raising £60,000.
At school we often hold fundraising events and send of the money to charities, but this one was special as it was supporting one of our own pupils and his family. On the day the children walked around the school grounds, led by our guests Spiderman and the Pink Power Ranger. Some photos can be seen below.
Thank you for all your support.
