Sports Relief dress down & Activity Fayre
Sports Relief
On Friday 23rd March we will be celebrating Sports Relief. Children will be able to donate £1 and wear sporty clothes to school. The children will also take part in a "Sports Relief Activity Fayre" during the morning with all activities costing 20p. Any donations for prizes at the Fayre would be appreciated.
Start/End of School Day
We would politely request that if groups of children are being led from one school to another at the start/end of the school day, please wait for all the children to go past before you pass. Children can become upset when people are trying to go through the line.
Healthy Eating
A reminder that we promote healthy eating at Raglan therefore please provide only healthy snacks (no crisps or chocolate bars etc) for your child to eat at break time and at after school clubs.
After School Clubs
Spring Term’s After Club’s finish on Friday 23rd March. There are still a few parents who have not paid for this term, payment needs to be paid asap. Failure to obtain the funding for the clubs may restrict clubs being put on in the future. Information about the After School club for the Summer Term will be sent out after Easter.
Year 5 - PGL
Information went out last week about the residential booked for September 2018. If you wish your child to attend, please return return the booking form and pay the deposit of £50.00 by Friday 23rd March. Please contact the office if you have any problem with this. Further details on the PGL Page of the Website
Volunteers Needed
Do you have free time in the afternoons? We are looking for parents or carers that can spare one afternoon per week to listen to children reading in the Juniors. Reading aloud to an adult can really benefit learners and is a rewarding activity to be involved with. If you are able to help, please let the office know and we will find a time slot that works.
Nursery Fees
Thank you all of those who have signed up for the extended nursery provision. We are in the process of issuing invoices out to those parents who have fees payable. If you would like to pay via childcare vouchers or tax free childcare please email your provider to office@raglanschools.org who will be able to forward this onto the School Business Manager who will be able to deal with your query. Apologies for the delay in getting this information out to you.
Wrap Club
Please remember that bookings for wrap club should be made in advance and payment needs to be paid on receipt of booking confirmation. Cancellations are not permitted once a booking has been made as per terms and conditions of the provisions. If you have any queries please contact wrap@raglanschools.org. A reminder that children must be collected promptly by 6.00pm any late collections have to be arranged beforehand and must be no later than 6.15pm. To contact wrap club during wrap hours please call 07841 455439.

Congratulations
The Chamber Choir had the most amazing experience at the Royal Festival Hall on Monday 12th March. They performed superbly and although we did not win the competition the comments and praise that we received after the evening concert made us feel like winners! ‘We have broken the mould!’ (Mr Kelsey). We were one of the 18 finalists in the country so that in itself is a fantastic achievement! Well done to all!
