THANK YOU!
A big thank you to all who support the Summer Fair, which was a great success. Thanks to the great team of volunteers from the RSA and to the staff who make the event possible. You can read more information below including the GRAND TOTAL that was raised.
Well-Being Week
Next week is ‘Well Being’ week across the school and there is a focus on children being active, trying something new, talking, working together and praising achievements. A number of reports about children’s emotional health and well-being have pointed to an increase in the number of pupils referred to support services. In the next academic year we will be looking at our curriculum to have a greater focus on healthy bodies, healthy minds. This will include revising our policy and looking at our support pathways for some pupils who may need further support.
Activities throughout the week include mural painting with external artists, Zumba, weaving, hula hooping, cooking and origami. To ensure a creative week the RSA have funded 50% of the activities, which has ensured that all children will access a range of activities. Murals in each of the playgrounds will also be a reminder to the children that we need to remember to look after ourselves and each other.
Last day of term
The school closes for summer on Friday 20th July. Infants (including Nursery) finish at 1.30pm and Juniors finish at 1.40pm. Raglan Wrap Club finishes at 4.30pm on this day and a separate letter has been sent.
