Raglan to represent Tottenham Hotspur

Great Achievement!

Congratulations to the Rattlesnakes who will represent Tottenham Hotspur at the national Premier League Stars Finals in Birmingham.

The team won the Enfield round and this week went on to beat teams from Barnet, Waltham Forest and Harringay to be selected to go to the national finals.

We believe is the first time the school has reached a national finals event since 1981! Thanks to Jeremy Northrop for that information!

We understand the team will travel to Birmingham for 2 days in May and play at the Molineux Stadium, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers. They will also get to wear the official Tottenham kit! This may be a challenge for some of our players and definitely the coach Mr Flett! The team will also have a training session at the club's Academy prior to the finals.

Congratulations to the team and to Mr Flett and Mr Bonner who have been coaching them. Football and sport goes from strength to strength at Raglan with nearly half of all Junior pupils (231) playing a sport after school and competing in the school's inter-house competition.
