Summer Term After School Clubs
All After School Clubs will be on ParentPay by the end of this week. We have so many more clubs and therefore so many more children to add to the clubs that it is taking us longer to enter the information. Thank you for your patience. You should be able to pay by Friday 11th. Please ensure your child is collected from the after school club at the correct time. If you are over 10 minutes late they will be taken to Raglan Wrap Club where you may incur a charge.
For security and safety reasons parents are not allowed to wait on the premises while after school clubs finish. If your child is attending an after school club please collect them at the correct time. This information can be found on the clubs booklet Summer Term.
Parent Governor Elections
There are two vacancies on the Governing Body, one for a parent in the Infant School and one in the Junior School. The Headteacher has notified parents of the vacancies and the process of electing two new governors will begin. For further details please visit our website. Nominations close on Thursday 10th May at 12 noon. If there is more than one nomination in each school then an election (vote) will be held. Further details will be sent after the closing date.
Reception Area Works
On the week commencing 14th May we will be starting work on the play areas by Reception classes R1 and R3. Infinite Play will be coming in to install new play equipment and resurface the area. This will take around two weeks. This is the same company who did the work on the Nursery area. The walk-way from Amberley Road will be open as normal but there will be fencing up. In the week when the surfacing is being installed, there may be a few restrictions, but we will let you know in advance if there will be any disruption.
Our well-being week is scheduled for 9th to 13th July. Throughout this week the children will be doing a range of different activities linked to well-being. If you have any skills that you can offer to us during this week, then please contact the office. This could be anything from sewing, cooking, art & design or sports.
This half-term, Leslieess will be running a half-term camp. Bookings for Tuesday to Friday can be made via the website leslieessltd.co.uk or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Activities for the week will be Nerf games, archery, fencing, football and performing arts. We look forward to seeing you there.
If you are going to be late collecting your child at the end of the day please call the office before 3.00pm to allow us to get the message to the teachers. The office should be informed of any regular changes to the end of day collection and any changes to your own contact details and anyone else you have specified as a contact. If you are more than 10 minutes late collecting your child they will be taken to Raglan Wrap where you will incur a charge.
Just a reminder that Nursery fees are due for payment by the 18th May. If you are unsure on your outstanding amount please contact the school office.
Bookings for Summer 2 can now be accepted. If you are booking in advance for the term you will receive a 10% discount. If you have any questions regarding this please contact the wrap email below. Please ensure that weekly bookings are made in a timely manner. Payments should be made on receipt of the booking confirmation letters which have been sent home in the children’s bags. Once the letter has been received please make your payment via ParentPay, if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Raglan Wrap via the email address below.
Cancellations are not permitted once a booking has been made as per the terms and conditions of provisions. If you have any queries please contact email@example.com. A reminder that children must be collected promptly by 6.00pm. Any late collections have be arranged beforehand and must be no later than 6.15pm. To contact wrap club during wrap hours please call 07841 455439.
Please check your Parentpay account for outstanding debt. We ask that your school dinner account is always in credit.
If you have not paid your voluntary contribution for any trips or workshop please do so as soon as possible. The school cannot subsidise payments for trips. If contributions are not made, future trips may have to be cancelled.

Can you help?
As part of our Springtime project, we are looking to transform the Junior courtyard into a tranquil, outside garden space for our pupils to enjoy and explore as part of their curriculum. We have our planters ready .... all we need now are some plants, shrubs and flowers. If you are able to donate any items we would be very grateful. Thank you.
