After School Clubs - cancelled
Our Sports Team are attending the Cardiff Sports Tour, therefore the following After School Clubs will not be running Wednesday 13th June - Tag Rugby 3/4 and 5/6, Thursday 14th June - Athletics. Also Djembe Drumming is cancelled on Thursday 21st June. Sorry for any problems this may cause.
We are aware that it is likely to be EID on Friday 15th June, if your child is going to be off school celebrating this religious festival please ensure the office are aware. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0208 360 5121 or fill out an absence request form. If we do not hear from you the absence will be unauthorised.
If you haven’t already filled out our survey on how your child gets to and from school please could you do so asap.

Year 5/6 Sports Day at Lee Valley 2018
A reminder to parents in Years 5/6 to complete the Google Form for seats on the coach and lunch. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.
90th Anniversary Tea & Cakes
We are taking nominations for this special event on the 26th June. If you know a former pupil, member of staff or governor and would like us to invite them to our Tea & Cakes, please see the website to nominate them.
If you wish to order your child’s class photo, please ensure the order form and payment has been given to the office by Thursday 21st June.
We have a large quantity of lost property across both schools. If your child has lost an item of clothing in the Infants, the lost property is held in the office reception area, for Juniors, children need to go the the Welfare Room. All clothes should be labelled so we can return lost items straight to your child. Please also check that your child is wearing their own item of clothing and has not picked up someone else’s.
Please ensure your child’s School Dinner account is always in credit. We need all accounts to be paid up in full by 20th July.

RSA Weekly News
RSA Meeting 15th June 2018 at 9am
At this meeting we will be thinking through events and ideas for fundraising next year. Please come along and help us set the plans for next year. Everyone is welcome. We'll meet at the school office. If you can't get along but have an idea you want to share, please email us at email@example.com
Thanks to everyone who donated a jar last week and to everyone who turned up to help with the sorting. We have a bumper amount of jars this year!! Be sure to visit the stall at the summer fair.
Teddy Tombola and White Elephant Stalls
We are still looking for more cuddly toys for our Teddy Tombola and any items that can be sold on our White Elephant Stall. Please bring any donations to the office. Thank you.

Friday, 29th June - Summer Fair - Volunteers needed
Just over 2 weeks till our biggest fundraising event of the year! Don't miss it. If you have any time to spare on Friday, 29th June from drop off till the fair starts at 3pm then please come along to the school office and we'll find you a job. We also need people to help run stalls during the fair. Get together with other parents, share child care or have your children help on the stall, we don't mind. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help at any point during the day.
FYI - CARD PAYMENTS CAN BE TAKEN FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR AT THE PIMMS TENT!
Summer Raffle 2018
Tickets for this year's summer raffle will be sent home in book bags this week. We have some fantastic prizes including; Signed Tottenham Hotspur Pennant from this season's team, 2 cases of wine, £50 voucher for Richard Morris Butchers, Tickets to Jump In, Family pass for Windsor Castle and loads more..... We are running a competition again for the class that returns the most tickets. Ticket stubs with the correct cash, can be returned in an envelope and given to the class teacher.
If there are any unused tickets can you please return them to the school office. The draw will take place on Monday, 9th July.

Instrumental and Vocal lessons application forms Years 1-5
The deadline for registering with Enfield Music Service for instrumental and vocal lessons for the Autumn Term 2018 was last Friday 8th June. For existing pupils, If parents/carers have not registered yet and they want their child to continue lessons next term, they should register as soon as possible this week. If any parents/carers did not receive their renewal Registration Document during the May half-term, they should contact EMS immediately. Telephone 020 8807 8881, or email: email@example.com
Similarly if new pupils wish to start lessons in September and parents have not yet applied, they should complete the EMS application form for the Autumn Term 2018, and apply immediately. The application form can be downloaded from www.enfield.gov.uk (search Enfield Music Service) or the form can be obtained for the school or the EMS office.
Year 3 and Year 4 are nearing the end of their whole class instrumental programme and will be showcasing their achievements in their end of year concerts next term.

If your child needs a pair of astroturf, moulded or studded boots, they can grab a pair for free in the Yr 5/6 playground every Friday afternoon. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated a pair already. If you have any boots that no longer fit your children, we would be very grateful for any donations.
